Black & White.

It started out as a nickname.

James Buchanan, always a man of the people, heard customers asking for “the black and white whisky” at the bar one day, and that was it. The nickname stuck. It was simple, like our bottle. Straight-forward, like our style. Black & White because… we've no time for fuss or extravagance. Don't save us for those ‘big occasions' - we live for good old get-togethers with the friends that have turned into family. The kind of moments that turn into all-night conversations, or end in howls of laughter.

Black & White because… we're all for the simple pleasures in life. No rules or rituals here, we say serve it how you like, but ideally over a story or two. Life may throw some curveballs but our smooth, balanced blend is a simple pleasure ready to welcome you at the end of it all. Black & White because we bring like-minded souls together. Just like the dogs on our bottle. Because frankly one's no good without the other. This was James's way, and it's ours today.
